There's is a reason why this story was split in two. The first few days going away wasn't all flowers and butterflies. So i suggest you keep reading.
I never really went off for a long holiday until recently. Practically I was away in 4 destinations within a month. Something I'd like to repeat once in a while :p However, it was a challenge for me to focus on my chart since we're spending the whole time outside and walking all the time. Plus, there was an unfortunate event (i would call it) soon as I arrived at my first destination.
Breaking your live account for the first time is pretty devastating. Secondly, breaking your account while you're on holiday, double whammed that feeling! So I skyped my mentor immediately and consulted/complained to him. His advice was simple:
"Analyze your trades and what caused the loss, take a break and told me to enjoy my holiday." - Best advice ever.
The advantage of being away for a while and getting to enjoy the unfamiliar scenery got me inspired to think of how am I going to get back on my feet. I sulked for a few days, took a break from trading on both live and demo. Thank goodness shopping malls distracted me from looking at my charts or revenge trading.
Got back home a few days ago I started trading again, after a very short and concise review with both my mentors, Nawism and Iceman. I am ready to run again. Realized my mistakes, which was of course ignoring some fundamental rules in trading. I will not elaborate on the mistakes because it was too...obvious. *knock head many many times*
Now that my mind is set and check this out:
A total of 1710 pips in 3 trading days (1 week), which is an ROI of 17.10%
It's amazing how easy it is to revert back on to your trading, when you are more positive, with the right psychology and of course being surrounded by the people who believe in your dreams and ambitions. Personally, that's what kept me going. Thank you Sensei, to all my mentors for realizing my dreams and I'm sure that everyday i'm getting one step closer to materializing it.
