Hey fellas! Let us welcome the new week with new harvesting spirit shall we? lol. Just to share with you guys on my experience with a loss last week. Made a couple trades that I exited way too early due to a small reversal and little that I know it actually went to a price that I analyzed. of course is part of the trading Psychology that all traders go through.
It cost me my account and of course my confidence was affected too. Since I don't take losses very well and i'm sure most people don't. I was a little scared to make my next possible entry.
I'm sure you had these moments where:
- "Oh my gosh! it went the other direction". I must exit now!"
- "Oh crap! I should have not exited early, It actually hit the price I expected!"
This is exactly how I felt last week. More than twice. Maybe three.
HOWEVER!, still managed to get 480 pips last week over some crazy price movements. Soon, I figured that i'm not doing anything wrong with my analysis, just that I did not trust my backtesting well enough and of course the lack of patience.
Sometimes the biggest challenge is not to win all the time, but how do you stand tough when things don't come out as expected. Still a long way to go, and a lot to learn. And of course, there's always time for coffee.
