90% Psychology

"Do you know in SRDC it only requires 10% skills and 90% psychology?"

My personal take away today was:
1. Not to be greedy (it's one of the 7 deadly sins!)
2. Learn how to develop a good discipline (to be consistent)
3. Learn how to be appreciative be grateful even for the smallest things
4. To feed the brain with positive thoughts (because thoughts do actually become things!)

It might sound trivial to some people and to some of course easier said than done. But then again, it's not impossible.  We are usally mould by the 5 person that we always spend time with so the idea is to hang around those people who are successful so naturally you will become one! Spend twice as much time with people who complains a lot, evantually you will lead the pack who complains a lot too!

When your psychology is intact, the mind will automatically set ist journey towards what you really want. You will not be easily affected by the negative things around you or even repels it almost immediately. OR says this almost everytime he sits down with the group. Of course it will take time and lots of willpower. There is a saying that Even Rome wasn't build in a day. Oh yes..patience too.

"Your character will reflect on the people that you most spend time with (as mentioned) and also the kind of books that you read." -Salwana.

I'm not an avid reader but I admit that since joining the community encourages me to start reading more and more business related books. I'll try and do more reviews of books that I have read along the way.

One of the books suggested in class today was a book titled "Personality plus" written by Florence Littauer. I was introduced to this book by our very own instructor Salwana, during a business leadership seminar earlier this year. Generally there are 4 kinds of personality mentioned in the book.

Does it make you wonder why your older sister is so bossy, your partner can't make decisions, your bestfriend is so annoyingly loud and you make it a big deal to draw the letter X with a ruler?

Here's a little preview, you might have spotted which one is your personality. However,  I recommend reading the whole book to reveal some of it's secrets. Btw, can you tell which one I am?
